Claude D. FaulkApril 23, 1934 ~ July 21, 2017 (age 83)
Claude D. Faulk, Sr., 83, left to be with the Lord on July 21, 2017. Claude was born on April 23, 1934, to E. Bryd and Hazel Josephine (Davis) Faulk.
There was an unique circumstance, he was born on his sister Nadine’s 11th birthday.
He joined the United States Air Force, and was very proud to serve his country. He always wanted to honor his country and countrymen, whom he served with. He married Jeanie Sue, and had a family, whom he loved and always had fun with his family. He worked for Consolidated Freightways and retired in 1991.
He enjoyed good food and coffee. His love of bananas could only be surpassed by “the minions”. He liked to whistle everywhere he went, no matter the circumstances. He also had some very interesting car experiences to tell.
Claude was preceded in death by parents, E. Bryd and Hazel Faulk, his wife Jeanie Sue (Bowersock) Faulk, brothers Robert and Harry, sisters Waneta, Sally, Naomi, Ester, Maxine, Ola, Nadine, Martha, and Willma.
He is survived by his sons, Claude D. (wife Marie) Faulk Jr., Gary J. (wife Tami), Jerry L., Larry D. (wife Michele) Faulk, daughter Pamela J. (husband Russell) Blankenship, and many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Indiana Memorial Monday, July 24, 2017 from 1 pm to 3 pm with service to follow at 3 pm. The committal service will be held at New Winchester Cemetery outside of Danville, Indiana. Just south of intersection of State Rd. 36 and 75.
