Elmer Wayne Adams, 64, of Indianapolis left this world for the next on Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Methodist Hospital. He was born to William Elmer Adams and Goldie (Causey) Tudor on June 9, 1953.
Elmer always had the Lord on his heart and mind; and he loved his family dearly. He was always helping family and friends anytime possible, whether it was working on a car or fixing things. As a youngster he enjoyed playing baseball with his sister Sharon and playing football and basketball. He later met Gerri L. Huddleston and married April 28, 1983. He fully enjoyed roller skating with his family and always had a closeness with those who joined him. He loved spending time with all his nieces and nephews; he always had a special place for each of them in his heart. He was very proud of his two nephews who are pastors. Ladybug and Elmer both had a love for each other like no other. Elmer liked hunting and fishing, special the catch of the day was always enjoyed. He loved to watch sports on TV and following Tom Brady, Dale Earnheart Sr. and Kevin Harvic. He always enjoyed his country and gospel music.
Elmer was preceded in death by his father William E. Adams.
He is survived by his loving wife Gerri Lynn Adams, his mother Goldie Tudor, his 3 sisters Deloris Jean Elliott, Sharon A. (husband Roger) Jones, and Janice F. (husband Vernon) Pingleton, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Elmer is missed by all who loved and knew him.
Visitation will be held at Eternal Life Tabernacle Church, Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 10 am to 1 pm, Service at 1 pm with burial to follow at Floral Park.
