Barbara Ann (Trobaugh) Walters, 79 of Daleville, Indiana left this world on Friday May 18, 2018. She was born on September 11, 1938 to parents Carl and Lula Dee (Tucker) Trobaugh of Detroit, Michigan.
Barbara raised Catholic and kept her beliefs throughout her life, no matter that circumstances she tried very hard to do what was right and treat those around her in the best manner. There is a wonderful story that is shared, she befriended a loving dog that in turned became her greatest friend and left Barbara’s life in a whole new direction and light. With this one loving animal, Turner, came a host of new friends and a new family that became her life. Barbara was filled with love, compassion, and a new joy for life from this dog and his family. Becoming the wife of William “Larry” Walters on April 15, 2011. Together they traveled and had many great wonderful times. One of the greatest moments was walking the beaches picking up seashells and watching life pass by. They enjoyed fishing, golfing and trying to enjoy life that was right in front of them. She loved Larry until her last breath, even then leaving a letter for him to read of the wonderful life she had gained with him and his family.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lula Dee (Tucker) Trobaugh, her brother Thomas Trobaugh, her beloved dog that changed the world for her, Turner and sugar.
She is survived by her husband William Larry Walters of Daleville, her 5 sons Thomas Wade, Willaim (wife Lisa) of Daleville, Larry (wife Kelly) of Anderson, James (wife Dawn) of Daleville and Christopher Walters of Daleville, daughter Robin (husband Steve Tex) Randell of Indianapolis, sister Tina (husband Gene) Stogsdill, and 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren, and a beloved Hazel Grace.
She is missed by all who loved and knew her.
