Patty was born in Franklin Indiana on July 5th 1961 to Osey and Betty Bryant.

Patty was an 'Indiana Girl'  She grew up as the baby of the family having two older sisters Sheila and Bev who she deeply loved and greatly admired.  Patty graduated from Greenwood High in 1979 where she lettered in Choir.  She continued to enjoy music very much throughout her life with Stevie Ray and Joe Cocker being a couple of her most admired and listened to.  Patty was an avid reader and stayed abreast of everything her favorite authors John Sanford and Dick Francis produced.  She also had a lifelong interest in automobiles and attended numorous car shows, swap meets, and races.  She herself was sometimes known as 'Mustang Patty' with a leadfoot of her own.  Patty was a very outgoing person and was one who never met a stranger.  She was positive, light hearted, and loved to make people laugh.

She met Chuck Bertram and they were married in 1981 in Franklin Indiana.  Patty gave birth to two wonderful boys Zach and Willie who she loved dearly and considered her most profound accomplishments of her life. Patty was taken from this world to meet her heavenly father at an early age on June 3rd 2018 before she was able to enjoy her hopes and dreams for the 'Golden Years'.

Patty's desire for those she left behind was that everyone find peace with each other and that everyone be treated justly.  Her wishes after her passing were to be creamated and asked for a private party to be held in her rememberance with lots of music, laughter, and happiness.
