Thomas Mitchel England (Tom Fish) was born in Indianapolis on March 24th , 1963. He passed away after complication of cardiac arrest on February 7th, at Methodist Hospital, surrounded by loved ones.
Tommy was an independent man with a big heart. To know him was to love him, he was kind to everyone he met. He got his nickname, Fish, because of his love of the sport. He could and would fish anywhere and anytime he could. He was handy with tools and loved carpentry and building things. Tommy was a great cook as well; frying up the fish he caught was a specialty. He was a great patriot of our country; the American flag carried significant meaning to him. He served in the US Air Force for 2 years and US Air Force reserves for 4 years.
Tommy is survived by his parents, George and Joyce England (Taulman) sisters Patricia England, Lori England, and Tresa (Christopher) Acord, two nieces and two nephews. He had a great network of friends that considered him family as well.
Tommy will be cremated. We will have a Celebration of Life in remembrance of him on Friday, February 16th 2018 from 5pm to9pm, at the American Legion located at 601 South Holt Road. Please come as you are, ready to share stories with friends and family. In lieu of flowers/gifts, we will have a jar set out for donations to a worthy charity.
