Travis N. McVicar, age 41, of Trafalgar, left this life peacefully after a difficult battle with cancer on Friday December 20, 2019 at Our Hospice of South-Central Indiana in Columbus Indiana. He was born to Leston and Cheryl (Warren) McVicar during the great blizzard of 1978, on Friday January 27 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Franklin arriving at the hospital via the Indiana National Guard.
He is survived by His Father Leston (Doris) McVicar of Jasonville, IN, his mother Cheryl (Ronnie) Beasley of Greenwood, his loving wife Heather (Day) McVicar, a son Corey McVicar, a daughter Willow Grace McVicar.4 Brothers William “Joey” (Jessie) McVicar of Jasonville, David (Michelle) Lucas of Greenwood, Keith Lucas of Terre Haute and Joseph Lucas of Hudson, KY. Three sisters Alicia (Nick) Craig of Indianapolis Kristen and Kaylen McVicar both of Jasonville. Nephews, Max McVicar, Jackson Lucas and Hasyl Craig. He was preceded in death by a brother Michael McVicar. Travis had no greater joy than being with his family.
Travis was a tool room Tech at Berry Global Plastics in Franklin and a member of the Church of the Lakes in Nineveh.
Pastor Jon Lucas will conduct a Celebration of his Life, Friday December 27 at 5:00PM at Indiana Memorial Cremation & Funeral Care Trafalgar Chapel, 3039 West County Road 300 South at State Road 135. The family will be receiving friends on Friday from 2:00PM until the time of services at 5:00PM.
