Mom was a strong woman, and passionate about life. Mom was always the life of the party. She was a social butterfly; everyone knew her. When she entered the room, you knew it. I was so proud when she would walk me around, (whichever club she was at) introducing me to her friends saying, "Have you met my daughter?" Danny was mom's security blanket, she loved living next door to him. He told me about the last little mischievous giggle she had: when Danny handed mom a water bottle, she squeezed it hard, and soaked him. Mom was so much fun. She worked, volunteered, and supported our Veterans with all she had. Mom was a proud, and dedicated American. She was the Treasurer and Secretary for a few different V.F.W.'s. She would volunteer to call bingo, (Oh, and don't get me started on her bingo obsession). And you all know how much she loved her karaoke shows. Mom loved singing Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline songs. At the close of every karaoke show, she would pay tribute to our Veterans with a song called Angels Flight, (military version). I would cry every time. Mom loved her family with her whole heart and soul. We love you MOM, and you will be missed so much.
