Jason A. Darlington 49 of Mooresville, passed from this life on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at St Francis Hospital Mooresville. He was born on Sunday February 20, 1972 in Indianapolis, to John Darlington ll and Ruth (Hazel) Hamilton.
Jason was a carpenter and worked for Tieken & Tieken Construction, Inc. He was a member of Mt Gilead Church in Mooresville, a member of Herpetological Society of Indiana, a craftsman, outdoorsman, animal lover, motorcycle enthusiast, a True American and an outstanding father figure to many. “A general bada$$”.
Jason was a devout and beloved husband, father, brother, son, uncle, and papaw. To those nearest to him, both friend and family alike, Jason embodied the very core principals of a leader and mentor. A beacon to the lost and a steady foundation of safety and security where others could find refuge amidst the toiling seas of life. A man steady and solid in his faith and love for Christ as well as his convictions and beliefs on what it meant to do wright and be kind. Jason’s display of character and moral aptitude to self and living the image of a “Good Man” were and will always be above reproach. Rest easy, we’ll take the helm.
Jason is survived by his mother Joann Hamilton of Plainfield, his two daughters, Jessica (Colin Platt) Darlington of Indianapolis and Kaitlin (Mitchell Lyons) Darlington of Indianapolis, his brother John Darlington lll of Mooresville. Two grandchildren Tucker Lyons and Haiden Lyons also survive. He was preceded in death by his father John Darlington ll and a sister Terri Darlington.
