With profound sadness we announce the passing of Laurenia Mills-Muller, known as Lori by friends and family. Lori was born August 10, 1941 and went to be with our Lord on March 27, 2021. She was survived by her husband of 14 years Kevin Muller, 2 children Michael Hampton and Sherry Hampton-Warner, 2 grandchildren Evan Warner and Chase Warner.
Lori lived a full life she was a devoted and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend.
Lori loved children and was a very compassionate schoolteacher. You could always tell when she visited the nursery because every baby would have a lipstick print on their forehead where she would kiss them. She was also known as the teacher that gave out candy bars to students that earned an A+ on spelling test. She loved gardening and going on road trips with her sister and having adventures with her friends. She lived in the moment and cherished everyone around her.
Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
A celebration of Lori’s life will be held at Hope Baptist Church, 1055 N. Girl School Rd, Indianapolis, IN on April 3, 2021 starting at 10 am.
Indiana Memorial is honored to be serving the Mills-Muller family.
