Marissa Kay (Pardue) Hinkle 66 years of Indianapolis, passed from this life on Monday, January 10, 2022, at St Francis Hospital. She was born in Indianapolis on Sunday, October 23, 1955, to Reverend Luther and Beulah (Pennington) Pardue. Marissa was a homemaker, an artist, and a member of University Heights Baptist Church.
During her younger years Marissa volunteered several years at her children’s school as the President of the PTO, she was a Leader in the Awana program at UHBC, and later in life taught children at a Neighborhood Bible School with her sister. She enjoyed being outdoors, finding a great sale, singing with her sisters, and being with her family and friends.
Marissa is survived by her sons, Ronald (Dawn) Key Jr. of Shelbyville, Matthew Key of Indianapolis, Daniel (Catherine) Hinkle ll, of Beech Grove and, Sebastian Key of Indianapolis, her daughter, Melissa (Troy) Smith of Princeton, TX, her sisters, Teena (Ron) Dudas of Indianapolis, Cheri (Al) Ramsey of Indianapolis, Paula (Randy) York of Indianapolis, Debra Bickers of Southport, Anita (Andy) Warren of Camby and Rebecca Pardue of Southport, nine grandsons, four granddaughters two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother David Pardue.
A Celebration of her life will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Lighthouse Baptist Church 6950 East Raymond Street in Indianapolis from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.
