We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Indiana Memorial - Indianapolis
Patricia (Pat) Ann (Lemon) Baue was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Patricia passed away on August 20, 2021, at the age of 85, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.
She was born to Frank Morris Lemon and Colleen (Tallo) Lemon of Sparta, Illinois, and was currently living in Indianapolis, Indiana. She is survived by husband, of 65 years, Edward Baue, Indianapolis, sons William Baue, Indianapolis, Mark Baue (Stacie Baue), Coulterville, Illinois, Scott Baue (Robyn Bragg), Indianapolis, daughter Vicki Baue, Chicago, Illinois, brother Robert Lemon (Loretta), Sparta, grandchildren Christopher Baue, Bridgette (Baue) Miller, Casey Baue (Philip Brown), Brittany Baue (Jesse Goforth) and Brady Baue (Michelle Kelso), great grandchildren Brandon Dickey, Lucas Brown, Eliot Brown, Tony Miller, Kyle Miller, Benjamin Metcalf, Seth Colson, Kennedy Stout, and Francine Maki, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by Father Frank Morris Lemon, mother Colleen (Tallo) Lemon, stepmother Hilma (Nitzsche) Lemon and stepbrother Jack Moore.
Pat found joy in the simplest pleasures, and her love of life and family didn’t come to an end with her death. She was an avid sports fan, loved to dance, and enjoyed baking, word puzzles and true crime stories. Many people knew Pat through racing and from the years she worked at Leaders Edge, a family-owned manufacturing and machine shop located in Indianapolis. Pat never met a stranger and always looked for the positives in any situation.
She is loved and greatly missed by all who knew her.
If someone wishes to do so, in lieu of planting a tree or sending flowers, the family requests that donations in Pat's name be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
Indiana Memorial was honored to serve the Baue family.
