Paul D. Bloomer, age 73 of Trafalgar, passed from this life on Sunday November 15, 2020 at his residence. He was born on Monday November 18, 1946 in Indianapolis to, William Earl and Jennifer June (Knoy) Bloomer.
Paul was a technical writer at Endress Hauser in Greenwood for many years, retiring in 2012. He was a member of the Southside Art League, Attended The Creek, in Indianapolis. He was a proud Veteran serving in the Air Force. During the Vietnam War he was a P.O.W. and after being released, went back into action. One of his greatest enjoyments was painting, his work in watercolors and Oils was outstanding and he was able to capture a natural beauty in all his works.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Jean (Jackson) Bloomer together they were
PB&J. Two daughters Stephanie (Brandon) Fall of Indianapolis and Shelly (Kevin) Fellers of Greenwood, a stepdaughter, Angela (Christopher) Gorman of Indianapolis, two stepsons, Kevin (Stephanie) Dixon of Greenwood and Chris (Amy) Dixon of Greenwood. Two brothers David (Lani) Bloomer of Carmel and Daniel (Donnalee) Bloomer of Elgin, Illinois. 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday November 20, 2020 at 6:00 PM at Indiana Memorial Funeral Care Trafalgar Chapel 3039 W. Co Rd 300 S. at State Road 135, with Emerson Kennedy officiating Calling we be from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Franklin American Legion will conduct Full Military Honors at 6:00 PM to start the Celebration of Life.
